The GCMO.Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, My name is pastor Joshua Chipoya, the founder and director of the Great Commission Mission Organization ( The GCMO). I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour in 1996, in the same year I discovered my calling for missions when I worked with cross cultural missionaries from IBM, baptist missionaries from USA. I worked with them for 3 years. 1998 I joined Zambia Army where I served as soldier for 22 years, during my military career, I used to do missions where ever I was deproyed( tour of duty). I used to assist the local churches in bible teaching and preaching, Assisting in Upgrading of places of worship, Assisting the most Vulnerable (the elderly and children, using my military salary. I am married with 3 Children, together as a family we live in Ndola Zambia. Due to the burning desire to do missions, in 2019 I resigned from the army and formed the GCMO. By the grace of God, the place where I served mostly as a soldier is the mission field for the GCMO. The GCMO is a non-profit christian Organization registered and existing in Zambia as a means of promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in rural and remote areas of Zambia. The GCMO has mobilized, partnered, equipping and supporting 10 churches operating along the Zambia Congo DR border where the word of God is little known or has not penetrated much due to factors like extreme poverty, illiteracy, pagan worship, Higher beliefs in witchcraft and traditional practices like polygamy. The GCMO is equipping and supporting partner churches on matters of; (1) Evangelism, Discipleship and Church growth. (2) Upgrading of Grass thatched churches to a simple but mordern church buildings. (3) The John 3 vs 16 T shirt ministry. (4) Assistance to the most Vulnerable (the elderly feeding program and children-education). My major roles in the mission organization are (1) Supervising the day to day activities of the Organization. (2) Bible teaching and preaching in partner churches.
