Missionary Profile

As friends of Faith’s Orphans Fund (faithsorphansfund.org), our objective is to support Faith’s orphans by physically sewing dresses, shorts and quilts and knitting sweaters here at home and shipping them via FOF Cambridge their head office to Zambia, Africa. Many of our women donated fabric, notions and yarn to enable other women in our community to sew and/or knit. In the past two years we’ve had a number of sewing bees but, unfortunately, we were unable to have our sewing bees this year due to the Covid-19 lockdown. However, the women have had more time at home to sew and knit during the lockdown. in 2019 we sent 159 dresses, 82 shorts, 7 quilts and 66 sweaters. in 2020 we sent 168 dresses, 30 shorts, 19 quilts and 212 sweaters.
