Missionary Profile

Tom and Brenda have been serving at Willow Springs Camp in Stouffville, Ontario since 1988. Tom serves as the Year Round Camp Director where he manages many areas of the camp. He oversees both the behind-the-scenes administration in the day-to-day running of the camp as well as the physical maintenance and improvements constantly being made to the camp. Brenda is the Health Care Provider and in charge of the health and well-being of both staff and campers. They are blessed with amazing team members who serve with them, from the Assistant Director through to the summer team. They are also so thankful for the partnership they have with Springvale in reaching kids for Jesus and helping them grow in Him. The purpose of Willow Springs Camp is to present Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to young people, and to instruct them to live useful and joyful Christian lives. We present the message according to the Bible, that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We place a high emphasis on relationships: a relationship with God and relationships with others. We explore and grow in these relationships with one another through shared experiences while at camp together!
