Johnstones – Serving with GoodSeed International Troy and Naomi Johnstone are serving the Lord as missionaries serving with GoodSeed International in Olds, Alberta. Troy serves as business manager as well as looking after media and websites. Naomi serves as an editor and writer. Blog: www.troyandnaomi.com GoodSeed: www.goodseed.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/gstroynaomi/ We have been working to get a store set up in Australia to make our materials available to people in that Aussie/New Zealand/South East Asia region. Despite set-backs due to COVID, we now have a store functioning as of August 2020. Troy is still working with staff in Australia to get an online store up and running, but we hope to have that functional soon. For almost 10years, we have worked to produce an audio drama that explains the gospel from Creation to Christ in an engaging way. We’re almost done! The finishing touches are being put on the narrative part of the recording and then we wait for the mastering to be completed. We hope to have this available in November. The production touches on real-life stories of people’s journeys to Christ and makes for a heartfelt explanation of the gospel. In February, just a couple weeks before everything shut down due to COVID, we put on another evangelistic weekend. We had around 100 in attendance, many of which were children and also many of whom were not believers. From that weekend, we heard many wonderful testimonies of those who had understood and accepted the gospel for the first time, as well as those who had struggled or wandered from the Lord and finally had the gospel pop into focus for them and transform their understanding. Always a great experience to see the Lord at work firsthand. Our children were all involved in various ways as well, which was a blessing for us as parents.
